“Trash” could be so relative that most people have stereotyped definitions about rubbish. For some people, trash could be somehow treasurable. As an production designer for short films, I started to observe trash in the cities and collected them as my own properties for those low-budge films. A few years after,I realized I am emotionally close to all these trash that I have been taking care of. 2009 April, we decided to take a family portrait with all the trash to commemorate the treasurable love we shared with each other.

From the Director
Life in cities pushes people to have all kinds of goals. Goals that people are desperately fighting for. But some signs in the corner of this city show us how the civilization works with human beings, such as, trash. Rather than drown by the trash we make, why not treasure them like we treasure those new products we just purchased?
